Travel Itinerary
8:00 am - Luang Prabang the World Heritage Temples tour
This morning we will head out on foot to discover this spiritual and cultural roots of Luang Prabang. We will start by climbing Mt Phou Si for a spectacular view over the city. After exploring the small temple and old French gun emplacement on top of the mountain we will descend the other side of the mountain and visit the National Museum which was once the home of the Laos Royal family.
It’s time for a coffee so we walk on to the Ethnology Center to discover some of the ethnic people’s way of life in the mountains and jungles surrounding Luang Prabang and also to enjoy a break in center’s cafe’.
From here we will be picked up in our air conditioned vehicle to visit some of the most important temples in the city. Vat Xieng Thong, Vat Visoun, Vat Arham, and finally Vat Phon Phao.
You will be dropped back at your hotel around midday.
